MElissa brasfield

Melissa Brasfield started Brasfield Communications in 2019 to support client projects and initiatives and provide a more hands-on approach to strategic communications and community outreach consulting.

Melissa holds a Bachelors of Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida and a Masters of Environmental Science with a concentration in Water Resources from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.

This technical background gives her the skills to assist on the most technical of projects and allows her to more easily communicate between project engineers and scientists to the public. This combined with a decade of outreach experience with a variety of clients and projects makes her excited to take on new projects and continue to build a world-class team of practitioners.

Brasfield Communications is a small, woman-owned strategic communications and community outreach firm based in Auburn, AL. We partner with clients across the country including utilities, non-profits and educational institutions to support their projects and initiatives and help them reach their goals.
